We're Marie & Serge
Originally from Belgium, we followed a dream to the far end of New Zealand and landed in Golden Bay — one of those places that has a habit of making people stay longer than planned.
We built Waitapu Springs to be the kind of place we'd want to stay ourselves: somewhere quiet, warm, and genuinely welcoming. The spa is our passion — we designed it around experiences we love: hot water, steam, wood fire, stillness.
Breakfast is important to us too. We cook it every morning and we don't cut corners. Expect homemade bread, good eggs, and Belgian chocolate.
We know Golden Bay well. If you want tips on where to walk, swim, eat, or simply sit and watch the light change — ask us. We're happy to help.
